Anna was born and raised in the UK. Having married a South African, Anna and her family have recently moved to Cape Town. Anna was trained by Philippa Herbert Ltd in London before moving to South Africa. Having had her own son’s feet cast at ten days old, Anna knows just how precious these memories are.
Sue lives in Rondebosch with her husband and three little boys. She studied marketing/advertising and has worked in this field for quite some time, but has always had a yearning to pursue something more tactile. When Anna approached her to form Joanna Loveband working with hands and feet of babies and children was a natural progression of her artistic want.
To Sue and Anna the whole process from taking the cast to seeing parent’s reactions when they see the end product is so worthwhile. Sue’s artistic flair, together with Anna’s attention to detail, will ensure that your finished piece will be of the highest quality.
